Waltham, MA—October 28, 2020 - RTN GoodWorks Foundation has donated $2,500 to the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless and its A Bed for Every Child initiative. Since 2011, RTN’s annual Walk Home 5K benefit fundraiser has raised more than $200,000 to help homeless teens and families in Danvers, Dorchester and Waltham, and support the Coalition’s work.

“We were not able to hold this year’s Walk Home and raise funds to support the Coalition this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” says Joan Kuhn, Chair of the Board of Directors, RTN GoodWorks Foundation. “We know that more people are struggling during this ongoing crisis and we hope this donation will help provide beds for children in need.”

“So much has changed since COVID-19, but the one thing that has stayed constant has been the requests A Bed for Every Child has been receiving for children growing up in poverty in need of a bed of their own,” says Robyn Frost, Executive Director of Mass. Coalition for the Homeless. “This generous support from RTN GoodWorks Foundation will go a long way to ensuring A Bed for Every Child can continue making delivery of beds.”
