Credit Union Supports JROTC with $500 Grant

Bedford JROTC $500 GiftHanscom AFB, Mass. Hanscom FCU is proud to continue supporting the Bedford (Mass.) High JROTC program, most recently with a $500 grant.

The funds will allow them to purchase caps for their uniforms, putting an end to the need to rent them for events and competitions. The credit unions ongoing partnership with the program includes a financial education course provided for all sophomores, as well as a $1,500 scholarship for a senior cadet heading to college. "We are lucky to be associated with a number of great charitable partners, and Bedford High ROTC makes us as proud as any of them," said Chairman of the Board Paul Marotta. "Its really our honor to be able to support the program and the students who make it the success it is." Hanscom Federal Credit Union, headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., serves 49,417 members across the country and overseas through 16 branches, over 100,000 service centers and surcharge-free ATMs, 24-hour telephone service and a web-based branch.
