Hanscom AFB, MA (October 21, 2020) – Hanscom Federal Credit Union Charitable Foundation sponsored the 2020 Run to Home Base, a virtual run/walk fundraiser, on Saturday, September 26, with a $25,000 donation. The annual 9K run and 5K run/walk raises money for Home Base, which provides clinical care to veterans, service members, and their families.

“The credit union and Foundation hold the care of veterans, service members, and their families close to our hearts,” said Paul Marotta, Hanscom FCU Charitable Foundation’s chairman. “We’re honored to continue to support Home Base’s work and share in their mission to heal the invisible wounds of those who’ve sacrificed so much already.”

The mission of Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program, is to heal the invisible wounds for veterans, service members, and their families through world-class clinical care, wellness, education, and research.
