Rapid City, S.D., October 15, 2020 – For the fourth consecutive year, Black Hills FCU is proud to be a Silver Level, $2,500 sponsor of the “Night at the Mission” fundraiser benefiting the Cornerstone Rescue Mission.

Proceeds from the “Night at the Mission” will support veteran’s housing and other veteran support programs, as well as the Women and Children’s Home. Although the event is postponed this year, the community need is even greater.

“Each year, we find it imperative to answer the call for support from our local mission,” said Roger Heacock, president & CEO. “With winter fast approaching and the pandemic creating additional expenses and challenges for many, the Cornerstone Rescue Mission needs the community’s financial backing more than ever.”

The Cornerstone Rescue Mission serves the physical and spiritual needs of more than 500 people in the Rapid City area every day with the goal of helping each individual become selfsufficient. For less than $25 per day, the mission can provide an individual’s basic needs and support for a better future.

Established in Rapid City in 1941, Black Hills Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-forprofit, financial cooperative serving more than 78,000 members. The community-chartered credit union has locations in Rapid City, Custer, Eagle Butte, Hot Springs, Pierre, Sioux Falls, Spearfish, Sturgis, and Wall, South Dakota.
