TruStone Financial Donates to $1,000 Special Olympics of Minnesota

PLYMOUTH, Minn. (Sept. 16, 2020) - TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union and the TruStone Financial Foundation recently donated $1,000 to Special Olympics Minnesota as part of its monthly Casual for a Cause fundraiser. This company-wide fundraiser gives employees the opportunity to wear jeans in exchange for a donation to a designated charity. Monetary donations were matched by the TruStone Financial Foundation.
Special Olympics Minnesota is a non-profit organization that offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round sports training and competition. Through its athletic, health and leadership programs, the organization helps people develop athletic skills, confidence and friendships, and it helps to promote inclusivity in the greater Minnesota community.
William Fish, Executive Vice President of Development at Special Olympics Minnesota, said the organization “is fortunate and appreciative to have TruStone Financial providing support to one of our delegations in the St. Cloud area during these challenging times. On behalf of our athletes, coaches and volunteers, we sincerely thank you for making a difference.”
