September 2020 – Joliet, IL - NuMark Credit Union and their board members would like to spread awareness about an upcoming event geared to honor our Navy Submarine Veterans. A new WWII Memorial will be unveiled during a dedication ceremony at 100 Liberty Street in Morris, IL on Saturday, September 19th at 11:00am.

This ceremony is important to NuMark Credit Union. NuMark board member, Dave Harris, is affiliated with the United States Submarine Veterans of America. In the 1960’s Harris served on a Diesel Submarine. Harris was also involved with the construction of the new USSVI Memorial built last year in downtown Chicago on the Riverwalk.

A dedicated group of individuals who have hearts for service runs the credit union. NuMark’s board of directors have always been focused on serving their members and the community. Please come out to honor our Navy Veterans that sailed past Morris to fight in World War II.
