September 2020 – Joliet, IL - Your home is your biggest investment. The right mortgage can help you build equity and pay for things that you need for your family. Life changes quickly, and having additional equity can give you more options when you need them.

Refinancing might be an effective way to do more with your money, especially if today’s rates are lower than your current mortgage rate. When thinking about refinancing, there are many factors to consider such as your credit score, amount of debt and various mortgage options available. Also, consider the length of time that you plan on spending in your home; they all play an important role in the mortgage refinance process.

How do you find out if refinancing is best for you? Harry Stewart, NuMark Credit Union’s VP of Mortgage Lending states, “The first step in figuring out what you need is to meet with us and we can work it out together. Primarily, everyone wants a lower rate for a lower payment. From term reduction to debt consolidation, there are several solutions to accomplish the same goals.”

You can learn about refinancing your current mortgage at NuMark Credit Union’s free upcoming seminar. It will take place virtually on September 15th from 11:00am to 12:00pm.

Participants do not need to be a NuMark Credit Union member to take advantage of this FREE Seminar, so interested participants should register in advance. Call NuMark Credit Union at 815-729-3211, visit numarkcu.org or click here to register.
