DuPage CU Raises Nearly $18,000 to Purchase School Supplies for Local Students in Need

NAPERVILLE, IL - August 26, 2020–DuPage Credit Union would like to thank the community, our Members and 2020 We’ve Got Your Back campaign business sponsors for helping us raise over $17,964 to purchase over 1,400 school supply kits for DuPage County students in need.

Nine hundred and five school supply kits were recently given out during Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet's 30th Annual Back-to-School Fair at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton. The event benefitted DuPage County students in need served by the DuPage Regional Office of Education.

“We are truly humbled by the generosity of our members and the community each and every year. Despite the pandemic, we surpassed our goal and were able to help more children,” said Amy Brandt, Vice President of Business Solutions. “With so many needing a helping hand during these trying times, our team was overjoyed with this year’s result. Thank you!”
