TOCCOA, GA (August 20, 2020)Peach State Federal Credit Union has donated $1,000 to the Paul Anderson Memorial Park. The Park was established in honor of and pays tribute to Paul Anderson, an Olympic gold medalist, the "world's strongest man" and a passionate Christian humanitarian.

The Park is owned and operated by the Paul Anderson Memorial Park Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax exempt corporation. Their purpose is to provide a green space in the community for people to enjoy and honor a local native not only known for his outer strength, but his inner strength and faith as well.

“Support from organizations like Peach State ensure that we are able to fund the ongoing operations and maintenance of the park,” said Roger Sheppard, Board Chairman for the park. “These contributions help make the park more enjoyable for the community.”

“We are proud to support an organization that not only provides recreational space, but also honors an important member of the community,” said Peach State’s President/CEO, Marshall Boutwell.
