East River FCU and Members Donate to Help With Utility and Rental Assistance

Madison, SD - August 5, 2020 - East River Federal Credit Union recently challenged its members to help raise funds for a local utility and rental assistance program. The “Home is Where the Heart is” fundraiser featured staff explaining a place that means home to them. ERFCU encouraged members to donate by matching the funds up to $500.
Ultimately, members, staff and the Credit Union donated $1000 to the local Ministerial Association to help those in area with utility and rental costs. The check was presented to the Association during their July meeting.
East River Federal Credit Union is located in Madison, SD and was founded in October 1956 through the vision of several early members who pooled their resources to create a credit union. Today, they are a healthy, growing, stable financial institution with approximately 3,400 members and $32.5M in assets.
