american1JACKSON, Mich. American 1 Credit Union hosted three Kids Fest events in Jackson, Hillsdale and Chelsea over the course of a week in June. The events promote learning and safety for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Vendors are brought in from the area to provide an educational game and a prize for the children to partake in at their booth. "Each event was extremely successful and we could not have asked for better weather that week" said American 1 Credit Unions Event and Marketing Specialist, Jessica Lutz. Jackson is held at the county fairgrounds, providing us with the space to house over 40 vendors and allows for over 1500 kids to attend. Hillsdale is also held at the county fairgrounds and allows for over 1000 children to run around the grounds. Chelsea Kids Fest is held at Timbertown Park allowing us to have over twenty vendors for over 300 kids to learn and have fun. Today American 1 Credit Union provides low-cost financial services to more than 50,000 members and several hundred partner companies. American 1 Credit Union serves Jackson, Calhoun, Washtenaw, Hillsdale, Macomb, and Wayne Counties. Visit www.american1cu.org for more information.
