SAN DIEGO, Calif., (June 29, 2020)--San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, is hosting a blood drive on July 1, 2020 at four locations in San Diego County.
Due to a critically low inventory of blood, hospital shelves are almost empty, affecting thousands of patients. We need your help – lives depend on it! Amid the COVID-19 situation, the San Diego Blood Bank is taking every possible precaution to ensure donor safety. Bloodmobiles will be parked at four SDCCU branch locations to safely donate. To register today to donate at any of the following locations on July 1 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., click on a location below:
SDCCU is dedicated to bringing its community together to help save lives, and has done so by supporting the San Diego Blood Bank for nearly 20 years. Blood donations are especially critical at this time of year when the blood banks often lose the high school and college resources they rely on due to the summer break. Blood donations typically decrease during this time of year while the need for more blood often increases.
