WALTHAM, MA (May 28, 2020) — RTN Federal Credit Union donated and had lunch delivered to Waltham Police and Waltham Firefighters. The lunch was a token of appreciation to thank Waltham First Responders for their heroic efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to welcome City of Waltham employees to RTN following the Waltham Municipal Employees Credit Union merger with RTN earlier this year.

In support of local business owners, RTN partnered with two Waltham restaurants to provide and deliver the sandwiches.

“We want to express our deep gratitude to First Responders in the City of Waltham who are heroes working on the front lines to help people and especially so during the COVID-19 pandemic,” says RTN Executive Vice President Nicole James. “We also welcome former Waltham Municipal Employee Credit Union members to the RTN family and are proud to deepen our community connections in Waltham.”

RTN is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative committed to helping members achieve financial well-being through quality products and personalized service. Founded in 1945, RTN is one of the largest credit unions in Massachusetts, with over $950 million in assets, nearly 50,000 members and 19 branches. RTN Federal Credit Union serves more than 1,100 sponsor groups including two major employers in Massachusetts – Raytheon Company and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
