LOWELL, MA – Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union has announced a date for the We Share a Common Thread Foundation 10th annual fundraiser to be held virtually from May 13th-20th, 2020. The original event scheduled in March was postponed due to COVID-19.

The fundraiser will feature the signature items from past events including a silent auction, gift card pull, and the signature basket raffle with dozens of themed baskets prepared by Jeanne D’Arc employees. You can preview the fundraiser at www.weshareacommonthread.com, the bidding and raffles will begin on Wednesday, May 13.

“This fundraiser was established to help organizations in the Greater Lowell area help those in need, and that is now more important than ever,” said Mark Cochran, President & CEO of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union. “We weren’t able to host our live event, and there are a lot of groups counting on us, so hosting a virtual event will allow us to continue to support our communities as we have in the past.”

Jeanne D’Arc established the We Share a Common Thread Foundation in 2011 with the sole purpose of providing monetary support to local non-profit organizations, charities, causes, and events.

This annual event raises funds to directly benefit over one hundred local organizations. Last year’s fundraiser raised more than $60,000, and the Foundation disbursed the funds to 104 organizations throughout our local communities.

The Credit Union is honored to have Fiserv, Inc., a global provider of financial services technology, as its Common Thread Sponsor, the highest level of sponsorship.
