RTN Federal CU Donates $4,500 to Local Hospital for COVID Response Fund

WALTHAM, MA (May 5, 2020) — RTN Federal Credit Union has donated $4,500 to the Lawrence General Hospital COVID-19 Response Fund. LGH is one of RTN’s employer groups, and RTN serves as the Credit Union for Lawrence General employees.

“Generous donations, such as this gift from RTN Federal Credit Union, are making a real difference during a critical time,” says Kelly MacLean Clark, Lawrence General Hospital Chief Development Officer. “Our dedicated team are heroically facing the demands of coronavirus head on. This gift not only helps to fortify a vital community health resource, but also sends a powerful message of hope.”

“We are here to support our healthcare institutions and the healthcare heroes working on the front lines of this battle, many of whom are our members,” says RTN CEO and Treasurer Richard Wright. “We continue to uphold our commitment to keep our staff and members safe while maintaining business continuity to ensure we serve all our members.”

Donations to the COVID-19 response at Lawrence General help support Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for clinicians, staff and patients; additional staff needed to care for the patient surge; technology and equipment; housing, food and wellness necessities for caregivers; and infrastructure and support needs.
