Kstate CREDIT UNION Donates Nearly $4,000 to Wonder Workshop Childrens Museum

MANHATTAN, KS – March 4, 2020 -  Kstate CREDIT UNION recently presented a check for $3,951 to the Wonder Workshop Children’s Museum. The money was raised during kstate CREDIT UNION’s annual Skip-A-Pay program. Skip-A-Pay is a program that allows members to skip a loan payment during November or December in exchange for a charitable donation. This is the first time that Wonder Workshop Children’s Museum has been selected as the recipient.

LaRae Kraemer, CEO/President for kstate CREDIT UNION said, “Richard Pitts and his team are doing great work for children in our community.  We are excited that the Skip-A-Pay proceeds are being donated to such a great organization.”

“Our mission is to promote education in the arts, sciences, and humanities. Our goal is to develop self-reliant children, families, and community members. Our hands-on activities and exhibits instill a desire for life long learning, recognizing our cultural diversity, and fostering creative potential.”

Dr. David Griffin Sr, Wonder Workshop Board Member, wrote, “: It was my sincere pleasure to have met the members of the Kansas State Credit Union this morning. My heart was filled with joy and appreciation for the kindness and generosity shown toward our Wonder Workshop Children's Museum. Your donation will go a long way in supporting our student programs and other WWCM educational  programs.”
