Mountain Americas College Donation Programs Contributes More Than $75,000 to Local Charities

Sandy, UT - March 3, 2020 - During the 2019-2020 season, Mountain America Credit Union donated $50 to charity for every 3-point shot made by the Boise State Broncos, Idaho State Bengals, and Brigham Young University Cougars men’s basketball teams. With the regular season coming to a close, Mountain America presented $13,000 to St. Luke Health Foundation (Boise State), $9,000 to Bingham Health Care Foundation (Idaho State), and $17,000 to the American Red Cross (Brigham Young).
Mountain America made additional donations this past fall for its college football programs. A $50 donation was made for every first down completed by the Boise State Broncos and Idaho State Bengals football teams, totaling $15,000 to Bronco Life (Boise State) and $12,500 to Bingham Health Care Foundation (Idaho State). At Brigham Young University, a $500 donation was made to the American Red Cross for every field goal completed, for a total of $10,500.
In total, Mountain America donated $77,000 through its college basketball and football donation programs during the 2019-2020 school year.
