San Dimas, CA - February 21, 2020 - Christian Community Credit Union donated $22,100 to missions and ministry projects through members donating their credit card reward points. Through the “Points for Missions” program, members have the opportunity to turn 10,000 reward points into a $100 donation. The program is available during the last three months of the year to tie in with the season of giving. Since 2009, the “Points for Missions” program has given $272,000 to various missions organizations.

“Points for Missions is a great way to give back over the holiday season,” said Christian Community’s Interim CEO, Marji Hughes. “The program is easy to use and helps members amplify their giving by joining it with donated points from members who use our credit card.”

The ministries that benefited from "Points for Missions" donations this year were the World Mission Offering, International Ministries (IM), Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), Biola University, Operation Mobilization (OM), and The Freedom Challenge.

Christian Community Credit Union has $694 million in assets and over 31,000 members nationwide. For over 62 years, the Credit Union has served as a financial partner of Christian ministries, churches, and their members.
