Pierre, SD - February 13, 2020 - During the months of October, November, and December, Oahe Federal Credit Union offered their members a “Holiday Skip-A-Payment” program. During that time, members could choose to skip payments on their loans held at the credit union for a $30 fee. Oahe then used a portion of each fee to make a generous donation to a local charity.

This year, the credit union chose the Oahe YMCA KidStop program. This program provides quality, safe child care for families after school. Through this service, children learn new things, make friends, and are encouraged to be physically and mentally active and have fun.

At the end of their loan promotion, Oahe FCU was able to donate $700.00 for this wonderful community program. Each year, the credit union selects a different charity to support. This is a great example of a win-win for members, the credit union, and the community!
