This year, Unitus awarded 11 scholarships to graduating high school, undergraduate and graduate students. Each scholarship winner will receive $1,000 toward his or her tuition for the 2013-2014 academic year. An additional scholarship, The Thompson-Cerdena Memorial Scholarship, was added this year. �The scholarship honors the memory of Bud Thompson and Mark Cerdena and their dedicated service as Oregon Telephone Pioneers. In the 10 years the Unitus Community Credit Union Scholarship program has been in existence, the company� has awarded $105,000 of scholarship money to deserving candidates.
