Members Choice WV FCU Raises Over $2,000 for CMN Hospitals

Charleston, WV - January 29, 2020 - Beginning with Miracle Jeans Day last September, Members Choice WV Federal Credit Union launched a CU4Kids fundraiser with a goal of raising $1,000.00 for WVU Medicine Children’s credit union funded School Intervention Program. Through various fundraisers and many generous donations made, the credit union met the $1,000.00 goal and matched the funds. The credit union is very proud of having raised over $2,000.00! 

Last fall, Children’s Hospital 2019 Champion Child, Ziler Hawkins, visited Members Choice West Virginia Federal Credit Union for Miracle Jeans Day, helping the credit union to achieve their goal. Ziler became a patient of WVU Medicine Children’s when she was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, a condition in which excess cerebrospinal fluid builds up in the brain. To-date, Ziler who is now 7-years-old has undergone 15 brain surgeries. Ziler is an outgoing, happy little girl who has had a great time so far traveling the region in support of WVU Medicine Children’s and Children Miracle Network Hospitals.
