Skyward Credit Union Donates $5,000 to Make-A-Wish

Wichita, KS - January 21, 2020 - Skyward Credit Union is honored to donate $5,000 to Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas. This is Skyward Credit Union's first year donating to Make-A-Wish as a “Gold-tini” Sponsor for the fundraising "Shaker Full of Wishes" event on Friday, Feb 7, 2020. This event will feature tasting tables from several Wichita-area restaurants, a silent auction, and other fun activities. The evening will end with stories from many of the kids who have received wishes and the impact it's had on their life. Since 1983, this organization has granted over 8,000 life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, including 433 this past year. It is our pleasure to help support Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas in their continued mission to help, strengthen and empower children who face life-threatening illnesses.

Membership is comprised of current and former employees of Textron Aviation (Cessna, Beechcraft, and Hawker) and their families, as well as associated aviation service organizations.
