Grand Forks, ND - January 13, 2020 - For the past three years, credit union employees and volunteers with the Maurie C. Byrne Chapter in Grand Forks, North Dakota have made a difference with their Bell Ringing all around the town!

Each year, the chapter has increased their number of volunteer hours as well as the amount of money they raised to help the local Salvation Army. In 2017, the chapter volunteered for 14 hours and raised about $470; in 2018 they volunteered for 27 hours and raised about $1,025; and this holiday season 2019, they volunteered for 34 hours and raised about $1,680! This is a great example of the difference a chapter can make when they work together in their community. Congratulations!

The Grand Forks Salvation Army assists residents of Grand Forks County, North Dakota and East Grand Forks, Minnesota. They stock a food pantry and offer a wide range of other basic needs programs to anyone in need without discrimination. In addition, they operate a Salvation Army Store during the week, and officers lead worship services every Sunday. Learn more by visiting their website.
