PSECU Named 2019 Economic Development Champion by Local Chamber

Harrisburg, PA (December 30, 2019) – Pennsylvania’s anytime, anywhere digital credit union, PSECU, was named the winner of the 2019 Centre County Economic Development Partnership (CCEDP) Economic Development Champion Award by the Chamber of Business and Industry of Centre County (CBICC) during the annual CBICC Excellence Awards ceremony on December 12.

The CCEDP Economic Development Champion Award recognizes an individual or business who is a strong and vital partner in the collective mission to drive business growth and success, and job creation in all of Centre County. This year it was sponsored by PennTerra Engineering.

“Partnerships are key to maintaining the growth and job creation that help make our area successful. This year’s CCEDP Award recipient [PSECU] also values partnerships, in fact, they pride themselves on being a trusted financial partner for their members,” said John Sepp, Chairman of the CBICC Board of Directors and President of PennTerra Engineering, who presented the award. “I can personally attest that this company’s employees live their mission every day, which focuses on making our community stronger and giving back where it matters most by advocating for opportunity in all areas of life.”

PSECU also served as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2019 CBICC Excellence Awards event and sponsored this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award, which was presented to Lance T. Shaner, Chairman and CEO of Shaner Group.
