NuMark CU Cookbook Raises Money for Local Food Bank and Wreaths Across America

December 2019 – NuMark Credit Union is happy to announce that they have brought back the highly anticipated NuMark Family Favorites Cookbook, just in time for the holidays. This cookbook gave them a chance to impress their members with their cooking skills, as well as allow their members to showcase theirs! This amazing cookbook is filled with nearly 800 recipes including Mason Jar Omelets, Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Dip, Fried Ice Cream Dessert Bars and so many more. Cookbooks are on sale in all NuMark offices for $15 each, and make the perfect gift for teachers, coaches, family, bosses and friends!

NuMark Family Favorites Cookbook Committee Member and Assistant Financial Recovery Manager, Tammy Scheidt, states, “I am excited that we received such a good number of recipes in a short time. I collect cookbooks, and this one is definitely a collectable! The fact that we could raise a nice donation for two great organizations is awesome. All proceeds from the NuMark Family Favorites Cookbook will be donated to two remarkable organizations: Northern Illinois Food Bank and Wreaths Across America. The Northern Illinois Food Bank commits to feeding the community by raising funds, volunteering time and coordinating food deliveries in 13 Illinois counties. Wreaths Across America honors our nation’s heroes and their families by placing wreaths at the graves of our veterans each year in December nationwide.
