Minot, ND - It’s the season for giving back, and credit unions all around the Dakotas always step up their efforts during the holidays. The Credit Unions United Chapter just completed their annual food drive, where they collected 1,108 pounds of food for local food banks. Participating credit unions included: Town & Country CU; Prairie FCU; Affinty First FCU; Minot Area Schools FCU; GEM FCU; and North Star Community CU branches in Minot, Minot AFB, Bottineau, Velva and Butte. Bottineau, Velva and Butte donated to their own local community food pantries, while the other donations all went to Minot area food pantries. The annual food drive has become a tradition for the Credit Unions United Chapter, and one they intend to continue each November.
