Opening_CeremoniesFitchburg, MA Despite the cold, wind and torrential downpours, the 20th Anniversary Relay for Life held at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner Mass was another great success. IC Credit Union'sTeam toppled their projections, just over $6,000 for this year, and an astounding 7-year total of over $52,000. ICs Jeans for Charity program also contributed $1,089 towards the relay. The employees pay a $3 fee to wear jeans on Fridays and/or Saturdays and the money collected goes to a local charity on a monthly basis. "The IC Team is a great bunch and they come every year to support this cause," stated Tammi DiSalvo, relay champion and senior manager of lending. "We are proud to walk for those who cannot, support those affected by this horrible disease, and give, so that our hope for a cure will soon become reality."
