NEFCU Announces Third Quarter Community Giving Donations for 2019

NEFCU Williston, VT— Four times each year, New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) selects four recipient organizations at random to receive $625 each, for a total of $10,000 annually. NEFCU’s community giving donations for the third quarter of 2019 were:
Dismas of Vermont will use the NEFCU donation to assist with its annual funding. The mission of Burlington Dismas House is to reconcile former prisoners with society and society with former prisoners.
MENTOR Vermont will put NEFCU’s donation into supporting the annual Mentoring Celebration at the Vermont Statehouse in Montpelier. MENTOR Vermont strives to provide resources and support to youth mentoring programs to help meet the needs of young people in their communities.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington will apply NEFCU’s donation to the 2019 Jingle Bell Express. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington creates a community to provide families with a welcoming home, offering hope and refuge so that children can be close to their families when they need them the most.
Social Band, Burlington’s Lively Band of Singers, will offset printing costs with NEFCU’s donation. Social Band presents a capella choral music to the public, weaving poetry and song to create an experience that feeds listeners’ hearts and heads.
