RAPID CITY, S.D. – Committed to their mission to improve lives, Black Hills Federal Credit Union and their employees recently pledged to contribute $12,000 to United Way of the Black Hills in support of their 2020 fundraising campaign.

Partnering with more than 50 local agencies, United Way of the Black Hills helps provide individuals with access to programs and services focused on education, health and financial stability. BHFCU’s pledge will benefit the organization’s overall goal to bring people and communities together to solve problems and advance the common good.

“From Belle Fourche to Hot Springs, United Way of the Black Hills plays an important part in assisting those in need and building our communities,”said April Sietsema, chair of BHFCU’s Community Action Team Project to benefit United Way of the Black Hills. “Our employees are proud to support the exceptional work they’re doing to help improve life for individuals and families across the Black Hills.”

With support from its members, BHFCU’s employee-led Community Action Team contributes to and volunteers with more than 60 local, charitable organizations and causes through the Black Hills FCU Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, every year. You can get involved with and stay up-to-date on all of BHFCU’s projects by following BHFCU on Facebook.
