Tullahoma, TN - Ascend Federal Credit Union employees and members raised $2,190 during this year’s Costumed for a Cure benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

That brings the 13-year total raised by Ascend to $33,353 to help the LLS fight blood-borne cancers.

Credit union employees were encouraged to dress in their favorite mask-free costume or decorate a pumpkin. Members were invited to visit an Ascend branch on Halloween and vote for their favorite costume or pumpkin with a donation.

With more than $2 billion in assets, Ascend is the largest credit union in Middle Tennessee and one of the largest federally chartered credit unions in the United States. The National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) selected Ascend as the 2015 Federal Credit Union of the Year. Ascend is federally insured by NCUA.
