Minot, ND - At the ribbon cutting for their third location in Minot, Town & Country Credit Union made another big announcement – they are donating $50,000 to the Magic City Discovery Center Capital Campaign. This donation will fund, in part, the Digital Human Quilt exhibit where kids will be able to take a selfie and see themselves on a larger than life screen as part of a “human quilt” of Discovery Center visitors. A sign depicting the exhibit as well as their own “human quilt” made up of photos of the children of credit union employees will remain on display inside their new Town & Country Dakota Square location through October.

“We’re privileged to be able to have the Magic City Discovery Center team share our office space at our Minot Main location,” said Jeremiah Kossen, President/CEO of Town & Country Credit Union. “This donation is the next step in helping them to achieve their dream of a children’s museum that will not only improve the quality of life of Minot’s families, but also pull visitors from around the region.”

The Magic City Discovery Center is a nonprofit organization committed to building a permanent, year-round children’s museum in Minot that will provide the region with STEAM-based exhibits for children ages birth to 14+, as well as outdoor exhibit space, educational classrooms and community multi-purpose space.
