Fargo, ND - Staff at the Fargo VA Federal Credit Union in Fargo, North Dakota participated in the CU4Kids Miracle Jeans Day on Wednesday, September 11. Besides going casual for the kids, the credit union sold “Donuts for Donations” to help raise money for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. They sold 200 donuts to members and visitors, besides the MJD staff donations, and raised $475 in one day. In fact, Jana Thune, Fargo VA CEO, reported that the credit union was completely sold out of donuts in less than 3 hours! 100% of the money they raised will benefit their local CMN Hospital, Sanford Children’s in Fargo.

CMN Hospitals treat more than 10 million kids across North America every year. To provide the best care, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. In the Dakotas, we have three CMN Hospitals: Sanford Children’s in Fargo, ND; Sanford Children’s in Sioux Falls, SD; and Regional Health in Rapid City, SD.
