Educational Systems FCU is Committed to Education in Their Community

Greenbelt, MD 6 Educational Systems Federal Credit Union demonstrated its commitment to Support Education by participating in over 75 back-to-school events held in the seven county school systems and three community colleges it serves.
The Credit Union attended new educator and support staff orientations, administrator conferences and back-to-school fairs for students and parents. Drawings were held at the events to win a "Support Education" basket full of school supplies, and Credit Union employees were onsite to help members of the education community with their financial needs.
"Every year, Montgomery County Public Schools opens its doors to welcome almost 1,000 new teachers at the annual New Educator Orientation (NEO)," said Dr. Yolanda Stanislaus, Director of Professional Growth Systems and Performance Evaluations for Montgomery County Public Schools. "Thank you to Educational Systems Federal Credit Union for the ongoing support of our new educators. We appreciate your partnership."
The Credit Union also helped educators, parents and students prepare for a successful new school year by providing the necessary tools, including:

Donated Backpacks: Through theCredit Union's Support Education Foundation, 6,500 backpacks filled with school supplies were given to middle school students.

Tips and Tools for Back to School Campaign: For the seventh year, the Credit Union invited members of the education community to share their Tips and Tools for Back to School. The campaign runs through September 22 and the six weekly winners will each receive a $100 Visa® gift card. The Grand Prize Winner can select the school of their choice to receive $500 for school supplies. More information can be found at esfcu.org/TipsandTools.
