Fort Randall CU Hosts Member Appreciation Events and Raises $345 for CMN Hospitals

Pickstown, SD - Fort Randall Credit Union recently held a Member Appreciation Lunch at all three of their locations: Wagner, Platte, and Pickstown. A free lunch was served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Local radio KMIT was live on location too – hosting their Hot Summer Give-away! Best of all, the “Credit Union Kids” hosted a lemonade stand and raised $345 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals entirely from free will donations!
Fort Randall Federal Credit Union was established in 1951 to serve local federal employees of the Pickstown School District, and their immediate family members. In 1990 the field of membership was expanded to a community charter to serve anyone who lives or works in Charles Mix County and their family members. In 2002, the charter was further expanded to include anyone who worships, volunteers, or attends school in Charles Mix County. In 2004 a branch was opened in Platte. In 2016 the field of membership was extended to include anyone who lives, works, worships, volunteers, or attends school in Brule, Bon Homme, Charles Mix, Douglas, Gregory, or Hutchinson Counties in South Dakota. Today, they hold over $24M in assets and serve more than 2,700 members from their offices in Pickstown, Platte, and Wagner, South Dakota.
