June 14, 2013
JACKSON, Mich. American 1 Credit Union is dedicated to the communities they serve and feel strongly about giving back. American 1 Credit Union raises money each month for different local charities. During the month of May funds were raised for the Great Lakes Burn Camp, a special place for kids ages six to seventeen to meet, and have fun with other burn survivors. The camp strives to remove barriers these kids face on a regular basis from society.
American 1s Home Office and North Street branch locations in Jackson had fresh popped popcorn and bottled water available for a donation for members, every Friday. The last Friday of the month, we also made caramel corn, which was a huge success.
A total of $505.64 was raised for the Great Lakes Burn Camp. For more information on the camp please visit: http://greatlakesburncamp.com/index.php
