Hanscom AFB, MA  – Hanscom Federal Credit Union was proud to present a check for $1,500 to the U.S. Army Natick MWR on behalf of the Armed Forces Financial Network (AFFN). This grant matches the Board Memorial Award of $1,500 given to the U.S. Army Natick MWR at the end of 2018 by Hanscom FCU.

The U.S. Army MWR, or Morale, Welfare and Recreation, serves as a resource for service members and their families for enrichment programs and connection to their local communities. These programs include relocation preparation, providing information about community recreational events, and mentorship opportunities. The Natick MWR also serves the greater military community by supporting Air Force, Coast Guard, and Marine personnel who are assigned to the Natick Soldiers System Center (NSSC).

“We are happy to be able to support an organization like the MWR and all that they do for the well-being of our nation’s soldiers and their families,” said Paul Marotta, Hanscom FCU’s Chairman Emeritus, as he presented the check inside the Natick branch of Hanscom FCU. “The Natick MWR is important to us because we share a passion for the unique needs of those who serve our country. We’re honored to present them with this additional grant to help the good they do for the community.”
