Credit Union Collecting Donations for Project Paul

�Basking Ridge & Somerset, N.J. Employees of Affinity Federal Credit Union in Middletown, NJ, are spearheading a drive to collect monetary and food donations to support Project Paul in Keansburg, NJ.

Project PAUL was founded in 1980 as a part of the community outreach ministry of St. Ann's Parish, Keansburg, NJ. The early work of Project PAUL centered on the establishment of a food pantry, serving approximately 25 local families, and a thrift shop. The project expanded through the early 1980s, adding services and programs to meet the increased needs of the community. "We have a longstanding relationship with Project Paul, and our members and employees are very excited about being able to assist them with the great work theyre doing in our community," said Filipa Clough, Middletown branch relationship manager, Affinity Federal Credit Union. The drive will continue through July 31, 2013, and area residents are encouraged to drop off donations of non-perishable food items, clothing or money. Project PAUL services qualified people in the Bayshore area of Monmouth County, including Keansburg, Aberdeen, Atlantic Highlands, Fair Haven, Hazlet, Highlands, Holmdel, Keyport, Little Silver, Matawan, Middletown, Monmouth Beach, Rumson, Sea Bright, Shrewsbury and Union Beach.
