Fresno, CA – July 18, 2019 – Educational Employees Credit Union recently hosted its Annual Meeting, which drew 2,578 people who enjoyed free food, entertainment and giveaways.

Guests were treated to hot dogs, soft drinks, kettle corn, ice cream, bounce houses for the kids and many raffle prizes. Each person also received a free Bluetooth speaker as they entered the gates.

The event is also a business meeting for EECU, which is based in Fresno, CA. Credit union officials presented the annual report, announced election of officials, and discussed accomplishments and goals.

In addition, recipients of the credit union’s Student Grant Program are recognized by EECU President and CEO Beth Dooley and Board Chair Mike Snell. The program awards $100,000 annually – 50 students each receive $2,000 grants.

Members appreciate the family atmosphere at the Annual Meeting, which is held at Buchanan High School in Clovis. “We come every year,” one member said. “We make it a family event; it’s fun and we make sure we don’t miss it.”
