Daleville, Ala.  — All In Credit Union has been named the winner of the 2018 Desjardins Youth and Adult Financial Education Award by the League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) among credit unions throughout Alabama and Florida with more than $1 billion in assets.

The LSCU Desjardins Youth & Adult Financial Education Award recognizes leadership within the credit union movement on behalf of youth and adult financial literacy. All In Credit Union received this award for its financial summer camp, “Under the Big Top.” During a series of one-day events, third through fifth grade students at Boys and Girls Clubs in Ozark and Troy created their own goal wheel, learned about budgets through a Mad City Money simulation and came up with their own business that included creating an original game that showcased the financial knowledge they had learned.

“We are honored to receive this award and to be recognized for our contributions to the community, stated Kathy Scarbrough, All in Credit Union Vice President of Marketing. “This unique program was developed by All In employees who are passionate about financial

education and wanted to create a program that would make it fun to learn about money.  With the success of this program, we’re looking forward to adding more locations so that we can increase the financial literacy of even more students.”
