Vizo Financial & Pittsburgh CUs Raise $4,440 for Childrens Hospital
June 6, 2019
Middletown, Pa. – On June 1, 2019, Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union employees and their families walked with a cause at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation’s Walk for Children’s event. The Corporate teamed up with Century Heritage Federal Credit Union and Visionary Federal Credit Union to raise $4,440 in donations for the event under the Pittsburgh Credit Unions team name.
Walk for Children’s is an annual family walk event that benefits Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC – a Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital – by bringing together the community and raising money for patient care.
“Walk for Children’s is a fun event that raises money and awareness for the children’s hospital that serves so many credit unions’ and Vizo Financial employees in the Pittsburgh area,” said Erin Doan, administration and community relations director of Vizo Financial. “We’re extremely proud to take part in this event year after year, and thankful to the credit unions that help us make a difference for the kids at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.”
Including the donation from the Pittsburgh Credit Unions team, the 2019 Walk for Children’s event brought in $807,758!
