Credit Union ONE Awards $5,000 in Continuing Education Scholarships

Ferndale, Michigan – Credit Union ONE has announced two new Scholarship Recipients that were chosen for the third year of the Credit Unions Continuing Education Scholarship Program. $2,500 was awarded to Melanie Mitchell of Rochester Hills, and Birann Adams of Clarkston.

The Scholarship Programs were expanded in 2016 to help those that are going back to school to continue their education. Some but not all of the qualifications include:

Being a member of Credit Union ONE of Michigan, Be a high school or GED graduate with a gap in education of two years or more, plan to enroll in the fall of 2019 in undergraduate classes at an accredited two or four-year college or university, or accredited trade or vocational school. “ We strongly promote and support continuing education for all of our Members, and for these two 2019 recipients we are very happy to help in that goal” said Paul Stuart, Credit Union ONE Chairman of the Board.
