Brownstown, MI— Advantage One Credit Union awards three students with academic scholarships; two given to high school seniors starting their college careers and one given to an adult who is continuing their education. Each student received a $2,500 scholarship and recipients were selected based on an essay competition, with consideration given to their academic accomplishments and participation in both school and community activities.

The Adult Enrichment scholarship was awarded to Mykel Dolinski, of Lincoln Park. Mykel is a current University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) student and previous Advantage One youth scholarship recipient. Mykel is studying Biomedical Engineering, with aspirations of becoming a pediatric orthotist and prosthetist.
