Credit Union Contributes $50,000 to University

Metro Vancouver, BCOn May 27, 2013, Envision Financial announced a $50,000 contribution to Kwantlen Polytechnic Universitys (KPU) Faculty of Community and Health Studies. KPU has always been known for its experiential learning philosophy, and this gift from Envision Financial will provide much needed equipment and technology to further enhance education.

In September 2012, KPU moved its Faculty of Community and Health Studies exclusively to the Langley campus into a facility boasting more than 2500 square metres of teaching and administrative space. With four state-of-the-art simulation labs and a brand new home care lab, more than 600 students can blend theory with practice in a safe learning environment. The faculty has earned a reputation for providing the best possible education for nursing, psychiatric nursing, health care assistants, health administration unit clerks and special
education teaching assistants.� Kwantlen Polytechnic University has been serving the Metro Vancouver region for 30 years, and has opened doors to success for more than 250,000 people. Four
