East River FCU Awards $6,000 in Scholarships

Madison, SD – East River Federal Credit Union recently awarded $6,000 in scholarships to students in their community. Each year, members who will be attending a full-time college, university or vocational school in the fall are eligible to apply for East River FCU’s Educational Scholarship. This year, East River FCU expanded the scholarship awards program, offering 2 - $1,000 scholarships and 8 - $500 scholarships. The scholarship committee chooses recipients who exemplify a commitment to their education and community, as well as leadership qualities. Congratulations to this year's scholarship recipients! 

East River Federal Credit Union was founded in October 1956 through the vision of several early members who pooled their resources to create a credit union. Today, they are a healthy, growing, stable financial institution with approximately 3,400 members and $32.5M in assets.
