PIERRE, S.D. – Black Hills Federal Credit Union recently presented the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area with a $1,000 donation in support of their Great Futures Annual Fundraising Campaign. The Campaign provides vital funds for the organization’s programs, services and general operating expenses.

With hundreds of children and teens passing through its doors every day, the Club is dedicated to promoting and encouraging academic success, character development, citizenship and a healthy lifestyle among area youth. BHFCU’s donation will help the nonprofit provide even more opportunities for young people in the Pierre area to grow and reach their full potential.

“We are extremely proud of our ongoing partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of the Capital Area,” said Chris McConnell, BHFCU’s Pierre Member Service Center manager. “The staff do a fantastic job with our youth, and it’s an honor to be able to help them achieve their mission and improve lives in our community.”

Established in Rapid City in 1941, Black Hills Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit, financial cooperative serving more than 72,000 members. The community-chartered credit union has locations in Pierre, Rapid City, Custer, Eagle Butte, Hot Springs, Sioux Falls, Spearfish, Sturgis, and Wall, South Dakota.
