GEM Federal CU Sponsors Guns N Hoses Hockey Game

Minot, ND - GEM Federal Credit Union in Minot recently sponsored the second annual Guns N’ Hoses Hockey Game that was held at the Maysa Arena. During this event, members of the Minot Police Department went up against members of the Minot Fire Department for a charity hockey game.
After last year’s fundraising success, those putting on Guns N’ Hoses decided to bring it around again with a new recipient. Money from the second annual Guns N’ Hoses is being donated to Mike Honeyman, who suffered a severe brain injury in 2018 and is still on the road to recovery.
“Our goal for the event is to just raise any amount of money to help the family and his road to recovery,” said Mike Crisp from the Minot Fire Department. GEM contributed $250 towards the event as sponsors of the “Chuck-A-Puck” contest, with all proceeds going to Mike and his family.
