HEATH / NEWARK / JOHNSTOWN, OH – April 12th, 2019—Hopewell Federal Credit Union (HFCU), offered its support to the Food Pantry Network of Licking County for its Operation Feed campaign.  The members and staff collected 204 pounds of food and cash donations totaling just over $1000.00.

The HFCU staff created donation drop off locations at their Heath, Newark and Johnstown offices.  They hosted a casino themed campaign that included games, dress ups and bake sale.  The organization broke off into teams who competed throughout the month of March to increase donations and awareness of the event.  In addition, their upcoming annual member appreciation event, The Spring Hop, invites attendees to support the cause with a donation of a non-perishable food item.

The Operation Feed Campaign generates approximately 35% of the funding and food needed annually by the Food Pantry Network of Licking County.
