Lake Trust Will Donate $10 to Kids’ Food Basket, Holland Rescue Mission or the Lake Trust Foundation for Every New Holland Member Account Opened at Holland Branch Through May 20th
Holland, Mich., April 11, 2019 – Lake Trust Credit Union – a community-based financial institution serving members across Michigan – celebrated the grand opening of its new Holland, Michigan, branch location at 3370 West Shore Drive adjacent to Meijer on the city’s north side yesterday. Joining representatives from the credit union and the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce were special guests from Kids’ Food Basket, Holland Rescue Mission and the Lake Trust Foundation.
As part of the credit union’s dedication to foster community partnerships, each new member in Holland opening an account through May 20th can select one of the three featured non-profit organizations to which Lake Trust will donate $10, up to a $5,000 maximum. The 2,400-square-foot branch also features two new video teller machines that serve as 24-hour ATMs and also provide the means to speak with a Lake Trust Member Experience Associate for dedicated assistance from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
“Our new site on a prime Holland retail corridor means greater convenience, and we’re excited that the branch’s design reflects the outstanding Lake Trust difference in building relationships with our members, commercial businesses and the community,” said Lake Trust Credit Union President and CEO David Snodgrass.
Joining Mr. Snodgrass for the ceremonial ribbon-cutting were Sean Little of Kids’ Food Basket, Rachael Neal of Holland Rescue Mission, Mikayla Farhat-Tomaszewski of the Lake Trust Foundation and Keegan Aalderink from the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce.
“We’re incredibly optimistic about Michigan’s future and Lake Trust’s part in it across the state and particularly here in Holland,” said Emily Spaniola, Holland Branch Manager.
“Our team is excited to continue to demonstrate our commitment to making a difference and doing good for our members and our community. We’re thrilled to be able to host and support such amazing local organizations focused on providing basic needs assistance right here in our area.”
“I am pleased that Lake Trust Credit Union has built this new, modern and beautiful branch in our community, truly showing its commitment to serving West Michigan,” said state Representative Bradley Slagh in a statement. “The continued expansion of Lake Trust to all regions of the state is a testament to the sound principles the credit union’s leadership and staff have employed over the nearly 80 years since it was originally chartered. I wish the entire team of the Holland branch well as they continue exceeding expectations and advancing members’ success up and down the West Michigan lakeshore.”
