RAPID CITY, S.D. - Black Hills Federal Credit Union recently received the Hot Springs Area Chamber of Commerce’s distinguished Employer of the Year award during the organization’s annual dinner and awards ceremony.

The annual award recognizes a business or organization who has had a significant economic impact on the city and surrounding area, promotes a positive environment for employees and customers and is actively involved in the community. In particular, the Chamber recognized BHFCU for their reputation as a friendly, service-first institution and acknowledged their employee-led Community Action Team’s significant volunteer efforts, which includes a coat drive for Western South Dakota Community Action, a sock and underwear collection for residents at the local South Dakota State Veterans Home and an annual School Supply Drive, among others.
