Chartway Federal Credit Union Donates $200,000 to Toby's Dream Foundation

Virginia Beach, VA (April 3, 2019) - The We Promise Foundation, the charitable arm of Chartway Federal Credit Union, recently provided a charitable grant in the amount of $200,000 to Virginia Beach-based charity, Toby’s Dream Foundation.
Since November of 2009, these two charities have worked as partners to fulfill dreams of a lifetime for children with life-threatening illnesses who are treated at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters and Portsmouth Naval Medical Center. Since Toby’s Dream Foundation was created, the We Promise Foundation has contributed more than $1,500,000 to ensure that local children have the opportunity and resources to imagine and experience their most fantastic dream.

Toby's Dream Foundation is a local, nonprofit organization whose mission is to make dreams come true for local children with life-threatening illnesses. Toby's Dream Foundation ensures that children living with life-threatening illnesses in the Greater Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore of Virginia have the opportunity and resources to imagine and experience their most fantastic dream. Children are referred to Toby’s Dream Foundation by local hospitals including Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughter (CHKD) and Portsmouth Naval Medical Center.
